Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

Was I the only one who noticed the Civil War headline on the newspaper in the garbage can? :lol A+ referencing!

BW looks awesome with the shell casing coming out of the gun! Great addition!

Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

So as not to be too redundant, (it looks fantastic) I'll add my critique..
1)The ejected casing needs to be cut down more. It's way too large to look like a scale 9mm round ejecting and it still has the bullet in it. I only nitpik this because I'm a gun guy and I spot flaws like these in movies and TV shows all the time, much to the chagrin of others.
2)A lot of the trash in the garbage can should be in a compost bin or recycling bin instead of the trash. For this, I don't blame you I blame New Yorkers.
3)Number 2 is purely a joke.

It's looking fantastic. It's not only the time/work involved in doing this whole thing, but the attention to detail. Sure, almost anyone might be able to make the same diorama, me for example, (notice the word might, I couldn't do this) but if I did it, everything would look new because I couldn't do that level of detail. The roll up door would look pristine, the windows unbroken, the brick facade all intact, the street not cracked, etc. The closest I've come to that was I gave my friend an SSC 1/6 Snake Plissken for Christmas. I made him a 1/6 scale table out of plywood and square dowels and stained it kind of poorly to give it an aged look. I used a flat edged soldering iron blade to burn in 1/6 scale cigarette burns in the table top because Snake came with a cigarette. That's about as far as I was willing to go. You have gone far above and beyond that in your detail and it shows.
Now, enough praise slowpoke, FINISH IT ALREADY!! :D
