I just noticed this...it looks like Nick's pack is a bit too big?

mmh... I wouldn't compare it to the two pics on the left as Winston seems to stand somehow bad for a propper comparrison. When you look at Egon the pack seems to be a bit longer than his upper body so does Nicks pack. The Ray (figure) in the middle wears the pack quiet high...
I hope you can understand me... Quiet confusing...

I am more concerned about getting a figure that is strong enough to wear the heavy pack without falling to the back. Which body did you use for your Ray it looks good.

Yeah, I could do that...just let me know.

Jason-

What would you think about a full sheet of patches? Perhaps 4 (or 5...one extra for a screwup) GB 1 patches, 4 (or 5) GB 2 patches, and a name patch for Spengler, Stantz, Venkman, and Zeddemore on one printed sheet we can cut out? That should cover everyone's needs on one sheet.

IN-FREAKIN"-CREDIBLE! I am flabbergasted at the craftsmanship in the whole figure from top to bottom. But as an accessory lover...your traps are my favorite parts! Unbelieveable!

Nick's packs are a little big vertically, but they also could hang a little lower than the one Caz (I think) has in the center pics. Jason--yours actually looks a tad small as far as thickness from the back of the suit to the back of the pack on the bottom.

Sorry--I also posted that pic in the Peter GB thread for good measure.

Great job, very nice details. Like everyone else, I really love the accesories! The wiring iis alos spot-on. Good stuff...

Oh my god Jason, you even did the accurate metal gun/pack clip. amazing.

Could you explain how id you do the gun tip to extend and detract? What is the gun tip made of'??

Thanks

Sal

The pack does add a little weight to the figure, but not so much that it falls back...plus, I use a display stand to ensure that never happens. As for the body, I used a plain Hot Toys TrueType Body. They're the best I've seen so far.

That's no problem...in fact, I can print even more than just 5...how's 10 for good measure? ; ) ...just give me some time to get them ready, and I'll post a thread asking everyone who what's 'em and all.

That one photo does make my pack look on a tad on the small side, but I can assure you that it's dead-nuts. I used proportionally scaled down blueprints obtained from fellow "Ghostheads" from which tons of replica's have been constructed, including my own. I'll hafta post come comparison pics for further measure. Upon some closer inspection, I also noticed some inaccuracies in Nick's pack, but I'm an obsessed Ghostbusters fan that's been studying the equipment for years, so I'm can be a tad on the "picky" side. lol

The gun handles are hollow metal tubes, so for the clear tip I used a hollow flexible clear plastic tube/hose (same used that connects to the leg and belt) that fit in the handle just right. So, when the red wire that connects them is in place, the tip can slide in and out, without ever coming out completely. ; )

What would it cost to have you create a custom figure just like that for Venkman. Head not included, but the body and all the accessories?

what black gloved hands are best to use for a custom ray figure? i read jason u used the sideshow darth maul gloves and just shortened them slightly. other than that mod, do they fit the hot toys body ok?? i mena is there any other mods needed??

im wanting to use the hot toys body also but finding trouble in the gloves. so if the darth maul gloves are ok then ill try find some of those. the only other gloves i find that look good only fit dragon, ddi bodys.
