A little piece of Sunnydale is coming home. It won't be for a few weeks until I'm able to post a picture sneak peak, but I think quite a few of you will appreciate what I've stumbled upon. I've included a clue in the title. I'm excited to share it with you all, once it arrives. Spike fans beware....Grrrr....Arggg. :stake

I'll leave you all to speculate if you would like, but in the meantime, I'm staying clear of this thread as to not give anything way until it arrives. (Because I'll probably slip up among my excitement. :lol) I know people frown upon threads such as these without pictures, but nonetheless, this is Whedonville and I know people around here appreciate a little variety once in a while...

Is it the necklace at the end of Season 7 Spike puts on?

Ok, one more hint: Season 5.

That's it though. No more hints until it arrives because I will give too much away! :lol I look forward to seeing everyone's guess. Even if someone does guess correctly, you'll have to wait for the big reveal to find out if you're right!!!! :joy This keeps it interesting.

A corpse that resembles the character Joyce Summers?

Oh wait, that couldn't be it. You said your heart expands. Wrong body part!

Are you reading my mind?!?! :horror :lol

On another note, check out the Buffy Preview page on the SSC website. Someone is claiming to be " Theno.1 FAN!!!!!" Does anyone know what that means? And could they be related to Eli? :D

I see what you did there! You bought punk Spike, didn't you!?.....:tap

Place your guesses in this thread. You will find out a week or so!!!

In the famous words of Drucilla: "Do it a-gain. Do it a-gain!!!"

I think I know what it is.
Pieces of paper with Spike's poetry on it, that might have been used on screen (I can't remember if the auction said on screen or not).

I wanted to win that auction so badly.

I hate you.

jk

If the auction claimed to be a screen used prop I would make sure it is real. But regardless, cannot wait to see what it is.

Yep, sky is right!!! :rock

Basically, it's a collection of poetry that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer prop department created for William the Bloody from the episode "Fool for Love." The episode is all about the origin of Spike and how he killed two slayers, etc. etc. It's one of my favorite episodes of Buffy of all time and when I saw it, I had to bite. The poetry is iconic to me because it's the poetry that caused people to call him William "the Bloody."

The seller is the official prop and wardrobe auctioneer for 20th Century Fox Pictures. They've already got props up from Dollhouse up as well. They work directly with Fox, so I know its legit. Plus, you can go to Fox's website and you'll find a direct link to that Ebay page.

I own some memorabilia from the Angel set as well. Back years ago, when Buffy ended, they listed all of the props from Buffy. And consequently, when Angel ended, they got those props as well.

HA! I was right then!:rock

Wow! Sky did it again. Ultimate Buffy Fan!:bow

:lol

I'm excited! The cool thing about these it that there's 8 - 10 different paper versions of William the Bloody's infamous poem which were all included. And the reason why I "geek" out is because this is the poem that William wrote the night he got sired by Dru. And obviously, it's also the reason why he was called "The Bloody" because of his aweful poetry. It definitely was a significant moment in the Buffyverse IMO.

The other "geeky" thing that most of us might remember is that we only got to hear William/Spike's first three lines to that poem. However, these props were the COMPLETE poem that we never got to hear. :rock :rock :rock :rock
