I am sorry if a come across as an ^^^^^^^ but I have had the worst 2 days of my life.

I have lost my best friend and I am just tierd of hearing you ^^^^^ about it and now you are calling my bust ^^^^ when it is perfect for me.
call sideshow and get a new one and deal with it.

clearly you where expecting the real sign and made by stan winston him self bust but thats not what you got. sucks man but guess what the real bust from the set will cost you like 300k or more.


I know you are upset but there are tons of people that are getting it and by your comments you are bashing there rights to have the piece and see it face to face.
let them have there own opinion.

Everyones got an opinion dont they, sort of like you have of me. That in itself can be seen as negative....who's better than who here, when were all just formulating opinions of everything around us...

How come you aren't getting a replacement? Perhaps the 2nd one maybe to your liking.

I hope so too, I did opt for the replacement when I spoke to a SS rep...but its sorta in limbo till they get back to me next week sometime as they told me. Like I said, I really want to keep this bust...because they did do a good job of capturing the look and feel. If the next one I get (whenever that may be) is better overall...then sure...I'll be keeping it. If it comes to me again in the same condition...I may just have it professionally painted. I spoke with a buddie of mine today whos a painter for Ferrari that said he would be up to the job. I can probably get away with it for $400(as a favour)...
But we'll see how things go with the replacement first...

Sorry to hear that about your friend man. I lost my dad so I know what it's like losing someone close to you. Hang in there, the pain doesn't go away, but it does get better over time, and you'll always have the memories to hang onto.

I totally agree that people shouldn't come on here and bash these pieces. Have there been loads of statues I don't like or am not pleased with, or that I thought a fellow freak got ripped off on? of course... but telling someone they've just spent their money on a substandard product, or telling prospective buyers that a run of busts/statues is no good - even before they see it to judge for themselves, well I think that's a bit of a downer... that's just me though.

I've been waiting for this for several months and so have a lot of folk on here, so I'd be lying if I said your negative comments aren't giving me second thoughts

It just takes one set of negative comments to dispell several positive ones... so think about that for a moment before you post mate.

Got mine yesterday and... I'm not sending it back Perfect? No, nothing is perfect, but I do think it's a great representation of movie version of Iron Man and I doubt anything else will come close to it - I like HT figures, but I don't see how they can compare with this bust...

Great review. I kinda wish I hadn't canceled this piece but after seeing it in person at SDCC I was really let down by the size. Way too small.

I saw this vid on youtube, where this guy was holding the IM bust and he put his hand on IM's faceplate, and it looked fine to me. By comparing the guy's hand, and IM's face, it looks fine. And their head sizes were about the same too.
