I think this show is kinda overrated, but I like it. it's not just another little girl cartoon..it seems more intelligent, and there's just something about it that pulls you in.

But why does this show have a, seemingly, ever present creeper audience? As well, I don't get the appeal of it. I don't frequent many message boards but each has a thread about this show and many men with avatars of it.

I have seen a lot of girl children's shows over my 9 year old girl's lifetime and this one just doesn't stick out as unique to me. I'm not ragging on the show...I just would like to know why it has such an adult following.

Well, there is no accounting for taste. Some guys, including myself, really enjoy the show, and it isn't a bad thing in my opinion. No harm in it. However, just like it is with Star Wars and Noland Batman fans, there are going to be some people that take their fandom to an unhealthy level.
