Thats the best custom of the AH MJ statue that I've seen. Saw pics of this awhile ago and wanted to get my MJ customized... but then the price is crazy.

yep that's the one i fell in love with as well as the one of a kinda done by Brooks or Hughes, can't recall which made it and who got it as a gift

since i want one of each.

honestly i don't think she looks that bad, but the remake is so much better of course.
i think if they made the MJ piece today, we'd see a much closer take on the print that what was done years ago.
even now we can see on the latest pieces the higher detail and superior paint apps.

I dont think the paint app is bad, but the sculpt in the face failed. I agree, that FEMALE sculpts have improved a lot recently. So you have more than one of these?

not yet, but if a person can get the one i have customized, then i'd hunt down another just for side by side comparison.
may seem silly, but i'd like to have one original and one redone.
