Understatement of the year dude!
I haven't opened the 22" yet (at the office) but the 9" is a work of art.
Even though I played with the test shots over at NECA, seeing and playing with the finished product is quite a different experience.

:monkey2...3 more days for me. but super hyped with the pics posted :chew <----needs to be a dancing alien

Finished putting together the 22" a couple of hours ago.
It is undoubtedly a fantastic figure. And HUGE.
One loses perspective of just how large it is until one goes back to regular 12" figures!
Heavy as all hell.
Curiously enough, once it was put together and posed, I quickly went back to the 9"...

Let's face it, a 22" figure is just not really meant to be played with. It's just too big an unwieldy. At least for me.
The joints are incredibly tight, which is very good for such a large, heavy figure, but also a ^^^^^ to pose! It was really difficult to get the joints (especially ankles and knees) to get to that sweet spot, but once there, the figure just stood wonderfully.
It's an amazing piece of sculpting!
Kudos to Kyle and the NECA team.

Now I'm going back to play with my 9"!

Wait, that sounds wrong...
Oh you know what I mean!

Yeah, I couldn't help but play with my 9 incher. Glad you got them Abake. Does you 9 incher fall over? Mine does, but I think it might be that I have him on my crowded work bench.

No, both niners stand quite well in different poses... but it's not that easy to find the right combination of hip/knee/ankle angles!
The more you play around with it the easier it becomes to find different cool poses.

yeah, I found that out earlier, but I've been real busy here, going to the Hulk and all.:lol.

I also just now found the perfect pose for now.

It was kick ass. I am very dissapointed though that they chopped the hell out of it. I personally thought that the novel was better because it had more action sequences. Also, there are a bunch of cameos, Lou Ferrigno, Stan Lee, and the guy who played Bruce banner in the TV Series.

Have you tried to remove the dome on the 9 inchers? I have, but to no prevail. I wanted to add a littlemore detail in the paint around the brow. Thankfully, I didn't damage the dome in any way. You can't even tell that I tried to remove it.

Sorry to get off subject but I have to address that it would be impossible for Bill Bixby( TV Series Banner) to be in the movie. He died several years ago???

can anyone tell me the color that was used to detail the 22 inch alien's tail ? thanks in advance.
