Another one of the Celebration IV exclusives was the Medicom Sandtrooper. Sideshow was given 1000 of these to sell in the U.S., and they chose Celebration to get them to the collectors. This is my third version of the classic trooper done by Medicom, and I'm as happy - maybe happier - with this one than past releases.

That was a good read! Very good review Michael! I particularly liked the Paris Hilton wink! If you think that this figure is over priced (which I most certainly don't want to object to), can you imagine how it is to get one of these babies shipped to Europe? :google - Shipping & taxes: OUCH!
I wonder if you have info on the total edition size of the Sandtrooper. The Black Hole trooper was available for about $125, and had an ES of 3000. One would think that the Sandtrooper is more limited, because of the higher price. I know that isn't so, but still I'd like to know the ES.

Looks like a Dewback used him for toilet paper.
One of my major issues with this was the dirt app. I know a lot of people ***** about SS paint apps but this is truley the worst I have seen for a collectible of this nature. It was like hay we need some weathering. Go get some brown paint , hmmm I lil here a lil there. Ok thats good box it up. On one of the areas on mine you can even see the brush strokes.

Why I can probally fix it, I just have not had time to mess with it. The fact that it looked very rushed is what bugs me. I mean this is $150 figure I expect better then this.

That looks better then the figure a lot better. IT much more weather and doenst look so random. Plus all the white has a brown tint to it unlike the figure. It could be much better and at $150 it should be.

The weathering on mine is pretty decent. It's a little thick in one area and odd looking on the feet.
