In total it was about £500/$800 but well worth it because i really enjoy taking pics of my collection and i'd never even taken pics before getting into collecting.

Problem with trying to do shots with more that 1 statue is finding a table big enough to fit more than 1 on at a time cos these things aren't small are they?

Thnx -jay-, I think I have managed to take some nice shots, but my $90 super compact is a few years old and sux ass

I'm not gonna jump into the DSLR cameras, too much $$$ for me, and the learning curve and lenses freak me out. I am trying to decide between the Canon G12 and the Panasonic LX-5 right now.

And yeah, it is a major pain in the ass shooting multiple premium formats, especially stuff like Hulk

Camera is the Canon 450D using a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.

I'm just starting to tinker around with taking pics. I used to take lots of pictures when I was younger but lost interest...now with this hobby, and seeing Ingo's, King's and your pics, my interest has perked again!

It's fun for sure and now i look forward to taking pics of my new statue almost as much as getting a new statue.

SSC statues always take good pictures and never complain about "being too fat", having a "bad hair day" or "don't like their picture taken" because they might get recognized by the police.

My toys never roll their eyes at me. Pffft....
