As long as the ES is low it's not much of a worry for them. Start doing bigger ones and the C&D gets delivered real quick.

Not like eFX is doing anything with the license anyway, and like @slynger said, the ES are low and probably not much of a bother for Lucasfilm.

EFX is definitely aware of what MYC is doing. EFX had been planning to release a studio scale AT-ST this year for ROTJ’s 40th Anniversary, and was surprised that MYC beat them to the punch. This was all mentioned by Steve Neisen on a livestream a little while back.

During SDCC last year, EFX said they planned to put up 5 products last summer for pre-order, Dark Trooper Helmet, Armorer Helmet, 332nd Clone Helmet, Luke's Mando lightsaber and Ahsoka's lightsaber.

A grand total of 0 of them went up for pre-order and were in 2023 now. An AT-ST would make a ton of fans happy that want licensed products, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that thing seeing the light of day.

The odds of any of those happening weren’t quite 0%, but about as close to zero as you can get without actually being zero.

Real shame they’ve squandered the license and goodwill of fans because they’ve made some great replicas.

I remember being so excited when the X-wing went up. Yes, a few delays but it ultimately made it through production. I still have mine and love it. I patiently waited for the TIE, but then delays started and they just didn’t stop.

The other thing I noticed was the updates/communication got worse until it just stopped. Bryan disappeared. Yet, they announced more products but couldn’t deliver. They showed up at cons with cool looking ships and kept saying “it’s coming,” and it never did.

Glad to have my X-wing but that company doesn’t even exist to me anymore.

Bryan passed away last year. Not sure what the cause of death was, but makes me wonder if the lack of progress on projects was health related, as it seemed like he was almost a one man show there. The last things I got from Efx were the 2 Mando helmets, which are great. But yeah, I think they have been dead in the water for some time now.

On another note, my MYC Enfys Nest just shipped out.

Anyone get an glass/acrylic covers for their Tie?

Was going to look around, but thought I'd ask here first before shopping around.

Somebody on FB did a run of these through a shop that was local to them. They had several people sign up to keep the cost down, other than that run, I haven't seen any.

Be sure to shop around, those custom covers bounce all over the place in terms of pricing.

Thanks though, and yeah the prices are all over the place, just seeing if any collectors here got one done yet, the wings are huge on the TIE and this is the type of collectible you might want a custom cover on.

I think when you get into these well-made, intricate prop replicas you should definitely protect them with something like this. These are a bit different than flipping a statue here and there. Plus, there is usually a better long term value in pieces like this.

Looks like I have some decisions to make before Saturday morning, it looks real good and the price isn't half bad.

That price is really good, especially considering it's 1/24 to fit with the rest of the SS models. I've never liked this version for him, just doesn't fit the character, but judging by MYC's past offerings, this will make many people happy.

It is way better than the Iron Studio's version and in the same price range
