Mystery SDCC Swag worth getting?

Using a $75 off coupon from this awesome board, I ordered the last EX Anakin w/ Rotta 1:6 off SSC. They asked me if I wanted the free SDCC Swag, and I clicked yes. That raised my estimated shipping for $8.31 to $20.00.

Considering I have never seen or participated in this promotion before, I'm not certain that the "mystery swag" is worth an extra $12 to me.

Is anyone else getting the "mystery swag"? Do you think it's worth it?

It is a total crapshoot with Sideshow; I have received really cool sold out stuff before just randomly tucked in the box or as part of promotions like this, and then well there's the other stuff.

I'll let you know tomorrow if this time around was worth it.

Sideshow used to randomly put things in with orders quite a bit way back when; I have gotten everything from Muppets and Simpsons busts (quite a bit after they were sold out) to LOTR helms and T-shirts.

Yeah, I have several Simpsons busts (even managed to get Bart), 1 Muppets Bust, 1 Universal Monsters Mummy Bobblehead, 1-2 1:6th scale figures, etc.

Oh yeah, I forgot I have gotten a few Buffy figs back in the day too.

Well, I guess I'll keep it if people think the free stuff might be worthwhile. I was just concerned I'd be paying the 12 bucks and all they put in would be a plastic bag from their booth or something...

I'd be PSYCHED if I could get a Simpsons or Muppets bust. PSYCHED!!!

One of my big regrets is that I wasn't collecting busts when they did the Muppets ones.

Sadly, I bet it was years ago those were given out. I really doubt they have anything like that left in their warehouses...
