Because a programmer doesn't know how to initialize a vector and keep primary keys linked up a database to where it should stored all your username, address, state, city and zip... heck I can start on how to fix this ???? in my head without a gleam in my eye before a person can say one Mississippi.

Well my title is Senior Software Engineer but yeah I've basically done most of the following, like Java/.NET Web development, SQL & SQL Admin, Unix Admin, Network developer, etc... back end processing...

So yea I've either went to school for it or done it in a prior job.

i'm a IT manager and i spend half my day doing jobs i shouldn't, like arguing with and then fixing Senior Developers DB's when something F's up.....and they blame the servers cause they don't take the time to understand what they are F#%k they r doing!!!

Health Care information basically, I do the encryption of HIPAA data for health care claims, so valuable info like SSN and what you get diagnosed with whenever someone goes to the doctor.... I secure that data, host, via web page it, send where ever it needs to go for processing for clients like Blue Cross Blue Shield and other insurance companies that pay for securing health information, otherwise they can be fined some many thousands of dollars per claim according the HIPAA Act of 1996
