Hmmm, title doesn't actually say that the actor "played" the part, just that he /she should have been the natural choice.
So...
Nick Nolte as Sgt. Fury/Col. Fury [the one and only original Fury]
Daniel Craig as Cmdr. Ed Straker
Patrick Warburton as Buzz Lightyear
Jim Carrey as Freakazoid

Title says it all.

Name a role an actor or actress was born to play.

Try to keep to one entry per person or at least one a day...

First one that comes to mind is actually Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in the Doors. I thought he nailed the performance.

What say you!?

Immediate answer (already breaks the rules) - Paul Newman & Robert Redford = BUTCH CASSIDY & THE SUNDANCE KID.

Answer: Vin Diesel as Riddick.

Extras:
Cillian Murphy... Thomas Shelby;
Tom Hardy... Max;
John Travolta... Vincent Vega;
Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth OUaTiH.

My God, Necromancer is a necroposter.

Sean Connery as James Bond.

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones

Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber

Heath Ledger as TDK Joker

Robert Shaw as Quint

I agree about that woman that played The Witch in WoO.

Tom Hardy as The Feral Kid

Snuff as Nazi Monkey

Two monkeys – Snuff and Puff – were hired for the production but the latter suffered from a nervous breakdown on arrival in Tunisia and was unable to perform, which led the crew to send him to the pet hospital in Tozeur. Set designer Steve Edge, Snuff's owner, kept the jacket worn by the monkey. According to producer Frank Marshall, in order for the crew to get Snuff to mimic the Nazi salute, a grape was hung from a fishing pole just out of reach. It took fifty takes to get the desired movement for the shot.
