It's a shame we're seeing as many derogatory remarks towards Namor. If SS were to read them, I wonder if they might feel less inclined to do more dios with more obscure characters. In my mind, what makes this piece especially special is the Namor.

100% AGREE.

Without Namor this would be yet another Iron Piece. Namor riding the beautiful violent wave is what makes this piece a winner. Neither character is my favorite, but if i can score this piece $25-30% off at a LCS, i will not hesitate to pick it up.

I'm with you guys. Namor has always been an awesome character. I'm betting that those who think he sucks have probably never actually read one of his stories.

He may not look it with his green speedos and ankle wings, but Namor is a total bad-ass powerhouse. Seriously!

yeah i thing that's what's really making me waffle on this one.
the water makes for a really cool action pose, and that's the biggest thing with dios is the base imo.

think i'm going to get on the WL for this one.

Normally I believe retailers get anywhere from 15-30 % off Sideshow with bulk orders - direct account.

I am banking on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY on SATURDAY 5/1 (35 days away) to get the deal. Its no guarantee but MANY of my LCS in North Jersey give a store-wide discount of 20-40% off all statues in their inventory on that day. If NAMOR vs IRON MAN there ... it will be mine.

I suggest you ask your LCS about the sale as well, might just be a greater NYC-area thing, but you never know.
