Thanks for responding! I figured they were from CC Toys' release, but where did you find those broken out parts online? I've searched for them a bit and haven't found anything.

Some figure parts you won’t see, unfortunately l. Unless someone or a seller decides to break it down and sell the parts. You might as well buy the whole figure and sell the rest.

Kai sculpt is brilliant. But I don?t want all my Nathan?s with the same sculpt.

If I had the CCToys sculpt, I might use that for U3.

Now I can try to mod the Sideshow sculpt, knowing if I mess up, no big deal, with the better sculpts available out there.

Did a little work on Nat today.

First off as much as I dig the shirt it is too blue so I finally decided on a process of Coffee Staining the shirt. Which with hot water and detergent can be reversible if you do not like the results. I also made myself a side hook for the belt to hold the grappling hook rope. The rope is from the CC Toys figure.

Also I understand with those that said they do not like all the heads matching on the figures but until more get more heads released that actually look like Nathan I am cool with it. I rather have them actually all be the same and look like the character they are suppose to then be some nondescript versions that kinda look like him. Also I plan on doing one in a battle damaged motif to set it apart. So, far though I could not be happier with the work Kai did. It is the trifecta I have always dreamed of owning. With that said if they come out with other heads from other games 1, 2, or 3....you can bet your arse I will be throwing my money at these guys in a split second.

It?s a Worldbox AT016 body. Actually fill out the outfit nicely. I did have to change out the boots since the SS peg has such a large diameter. Didn?t feel like messing with Blu Tack or Taping up the post to get more girth on the peg, so I just went with new desert combat boots. Maybe the crotch grabber stand is throwing the crotch area off for you because I don?t see in issue with it in hand.

Great job- what a difference a new paint job can make! I have no paint skills, so I replaced my Nate figure with the excellent Kai Uncharted 4 sculpt.

Thanks guys! Yeah like many Sideshow heads, they have great sculpts with horrible paints. Thankfully for those who have no patience to get the head repainted have alternative sculpts to get out there. Plus I think official 1/6 videogame figures are a rare breed so I'm grateful to have gotten this Drake when he was still retail.

Can anyone recommend a replacement Nathan Drake sculpt that might be out there? I can't stand looking at this figure anymore, definitely need a way to upgrade the sculpt, and I am not a painter.

there's an "explorer" headsculpt floating around on ebay for liek 60$ it's from that unofficial Nate set for a eyar or two ago without any of the clothing or accessories. I picked one up but forget the name and company who made it. Downside is he has an open mouth and is looking off to the side. Upside is the likeness is actually good.

I got the Kai "Explorer" set (https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230126) and, even though it was made for Uncharted 4, the head sculpt looks great on this Uncharted 3 figure. I don't know if you'd be able to find any of these still on sale (or you could try contacting the studio on Facebook or elsewhere), but I highly recommend the sculpt!

Yeah this was the one I was talking about. I bought just the head from a guy on ebay he's selling em for about 60$ a pop with nothing else on it under the "explorer" name. MIGHT be a bootleg, but looking at these pictures it's almost identical so I couldn't complain.

Hey you wouldn't happen to have the holster from that set would you? Been trying to put together my own Drake.

I do have the holster (and all the other parts from that set), but I am holding on to it in case I ever want to put together an U4 Nate!
