I can't understand why they can't just take the 3D model and pretty it up a bit..
Also I think they made the sneaking suit version because Medicom made a Jungle Fatigue version?

Anyway, if you like the PAK version enough, and you have the money, might as well keep both. Though if it's a choice, I would choose the 1/6 scale.

Well, there's this common misconception that "game characters don't look real", which is totally false. All these companies need to do is recreate the proportions of every aspect of the face and of course smooth out any low poly stuff commonly found on dimples, ears etc.

Hair tends to be polygonal as well but so long as you keep the volume and the direction the strands flow, that is truly a faithful recreation of game characters in plastic form.

As for the Sneaking suit, I read that Hot Toys was trying to be "different" but the suit (again) doesn't even look like the game.

I don't mean to sound as if I'm bashing the figure but I'm merely saying it was a huge wasted opportunity, and apologies for going off topic.

lol okay back to the topic of uncharted,
not to disrespect the sculptor, but i think it would have been better if he was given a 3d printed mold of nate using the game data and add details and coloring to it for the mass production.
i like the one now okay enough, but it doesn't look like any of the nate from any of the games to me.

Well said.

I'm a huge, huge mgs fan but the hot toys naked Snake never appealed to me whatsoever. It's that suit. It's awful!

Ic. I try not to think about it so when it gets release, it's like a nice surprise. I just concentrate on what new toys to preorder so that way the list gets longer and longer and I somehow get new toy releases every other week. Haha poor wallet though.

I canceled due to having to buy supplies for business. Someone's waitlist for exclusive should transfer now. :)

I was hoping this would have been released before I went to Central America last week. I was so ready to take pics of Nathan in the jungle and to dirty his clothes up.

Per Sideshow live chat:

"It hasn't arrived in our warehouse in time for May shipments. We are looking to process this in mid June now."

That suits me fine. I'm going on holiday for a week from next week. So hopefully this gets to HK around the time I get back.
