PERS does look better... but doesn't seem like it fills the sockets as well.

I imagine if you repainted the eye plate he comes with you'd get a good result. Just a touch higher and a bit more detail would really work well.

Actually, after playing with it more I was able to close those small gaps by just heating the sculpt again and pushing the lids in a little more. :)

This I would like to see. Did you have to reshape the left more than the right?

I don't remember. I don't think so. Here's a pic. Hairline on right(his left) is a little rough. Silentsurfer's gonna clean it up nice. :)

Thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing the repaints over the coming weeks/months from everyone.

The right (his left) is what I was referring to. In my opinion, the sculpt was warped on his left at some point during the production process.

Just got my one.
jesus the head sculpt is ***. right, I get that they messed up the eyes, the jaw was a production issue. But the hair? I mean there isn't even any detail on it.
It's still a fun little figure and I'm gonna mod the hell out of it. But it makes me cry about the Star Wars Hoth figures they have coming.

My 5 year old son opened it with me and he said 'it looks like a dolly", well y'know what? it does a bit :lol

The spider went straight into our refrigerator onto a bowl of broccoli though. Waiting for the wife to find it.

Well I got mine today, got to Ireland quick, 4-5 days, first impressions are... for the price I paid It's a great figure, yes it has it's faults but my head sculpt isn't that bad, one eye is sliiiiiiiightly bigger but the left eye is awesome, if both eyes were like that I'd be well happy with the sculpt, any idea to make the neck a tiny tiny bit shorter tho?

Will post pics later.

For anyone wanting to replace the eyes with PERS, the DXLuke ones are perfect. And correct blue/green colour.
You can make the eyeholes smaller, and the jaw, but you really have to lose the hard plastic plate inside. It ****ed everything up, the eyes, the jaw, the hair.

ok so got drake in today, in hand the sculpt is not as awfull as first suspected, the eyes are a bit pants and he definitely needs the sculpt repainted and cheeks squeezing in, but for now untill i can get those few things done he displays fine.
i must say the body is outstanding as is the clothing sideshow really excelled here.

i only payed £80 so can't complain really

i think the problem with the sculpt is it lacks definition and then there is the eyes :/

I also futzed the scarf as out the box it looks ridiculous lol especially at the back.

some pics of mine at the moment.

It's just a faceplate?
Please take a photo of the eye piece :D

The head is in 3 very messily glued together pieces.. Once you take the large white plastic piece out the Jaws return to their normal proper Trevor sculpted state on their own. They are physical being pushed out by this block of plastic.

Nice pics Stealth.
Yeah, its a fun piece, the eyes and hair though... :slap

I'm kinda grateful for the separate pieces, it will make the repaint job much easier. How did you get the face off? Anything to keep in mind?

Mine was very difficult, cutting with a scalpel while wedging as i went. There are probably all different though, mine might have been particularly well glued.

Is it therefore possible to shave down the block and still get everything back together again afterwards?

Still leaves the eyes and hair though.

I'm dreading what SS are going to do to Han and Luke. :panic:
