Did some more work on my Drake. Painted to arms, hands and neck area to match the face, plus some other touch ups. Also made a custom stand.

If I recall, the prototype at SDCC last year had a base that simulated sand. I wish we would have got that versus the bulky thing they gave us.

Nice touch on the stand mattman! i love it. Just a quick question is your shoulder joint also racheted? mine is clicking whenever i raise the arms

Thanks. I think I'm going to work a bit more on the stand. Maybe add more sand to try to smooth it out.

Actually that was the sand base from the Sandtrooper.

His neck is very rubbery (haven't investigated under the shirt). The shoulders are pretty "clicky." I was pretty blown away with the body when I first got it because I think my last SSC figure was on a Prometheus 1.0. But there are definitely some issues. I still like it though. But I also spent my afternoon prying his face off to get the eyeball plate out.

EDIT: Maybe I phrased that poorly. His neck is quite moveable but not rubbery like the HT Wolverine neck. It's more like a soft plastic shell than a thick, rubbery piece.

I think the body off this is one of the best 1/6 around, perfectly scaled.

You guys have done great customizations to make this figure look like Nathan Drake. Who was he supposed to look like originally? You know, before the mods.
