As for Denver, Looks like AI has been exposed as a bad team-mate and Billups exposed as a huge reason for Detroit's past and Denver's current success...

Why did detroit trade billups anyway? was it salary cap issue? Man, if it aint broke dont fix it...that's like SA trading parker away.

the league needs to watch closely that next NO/Denver game. The Hornets pretty much gave up the middle of last game and especially Tyson Chandler were just shoving players to stop them from scoring. It'll be BS if a team that has given up hurts Denvers chances by injuring someone.

so last night's Lakers game wasn't their best performance - how many free throws are you going to miss in the 4th qtr anyways? They were almost begging Utah to steal the game. Can't pull this kind of stuff deeper into the playoffs.

That said Lakers still win it all this year - it's theirs to lose......

We like to build early leads only to make it a tight game in the end.. It's how we've been rolling all year.. 1/2 our losses came on blown leads and buzzer beating defeats..

Luckily in a 7 game series we should still be able to beat anyone.. At least out West..

I don't see anyone challenging the Lakers in the West. If they don't cruise to the finals it is their fault. Cleveland has a shot at beating them in the finals, but I don't think they will.

From the beginning, I thought that was one of the dumbest moves I had seen in recent years in the NBA (excluding the idiotic Pau Gasol trade, of course). Over-rated has-been Iverson for possibly the best "leader" in the NBA??

i think they're planning on blowing up that roster anyways, so trading billups really isnt a big deal to the pistons, they wouldnt have gotten out of the first round even with him. next yr, i think sheed and prince will b gone as well

i dont think its quite time for the spurs, ginobili is a huge part of their offense and hes hurt,same effect with boston, prolly their best and most important offensive player, they just need better role players and their right back in it as the 2nd best team in the west, obviously when detriot got rid of their MVP, its time for them to rebuild

i dont think its quite time for the spurs, ginobili is a huge part of their offense and hes hurt,same effect with boston, prolly their best and most important offensive player, they just need better role players and their right back in it as the 2nd best team in the west, obviously when detriot got rid of their MVP, its time for them to rebuild

Look at Bowen, Thomas and Finley. They're almost 40. Other then Duncan & Parker they don't have enough offense. They better do the transition now then later.

Denver is a better team thats for sure.. Billups is/will be good for 'melo's development and over-all future.. Thae last thing Melo needed was AI as a mentor.

Billups not only saved Melo's career with the Nuggets but George Karl's as well..

We'll still beat them though prolly in 5..

Only thing I like about NO is CP and West.. Everything else could use a over haul.. Starting w/ the coaching staff.. Sorry B. Scott but I think NO is one of the poorest coached squads..

but ginobili is their best offensive player All Around, parker still does not have a consistent jump shot. bowen, finley and thomas can be dealt, but they can still keep their core 3 and be the 2nd best in the west, they just need to get younger.
