Why the hell would the NBA issue a statement like that when David Stern was quoted earlier in the day as saying it should not have been called a foul?
The NBA should have STF up about this. If they were going to practice revisionist calls, they should have revisited every foul or no foul call in the ENTIRE game. Lakers got hacked to death with few calls made. I think late in the third period there were NO fouls called against the Spurs, something like that. Now, I know the Spurs are very good about keeping fouls to a minimum but come on, I saw plenty of bumps and body fouls going on...
These Officials were completely inconsistent. Crawford had his head up his ass when Duncan took four steps, three of them loping steps to the bucket with that jam and NOTHING was called. It was a complete joke.
Better leave the NBA call reviews alone or it just brings attention to the atrocious officiating in the first place.
How could they NOT call that travel on Duncan? Every 4 yr old saw it...
