I was thinking of hanging the 18" Neca Keaton Batman on the wall. With the cape spreaded out. Thats if the capes allows for it. We will have to see.

Nah.. I'm just not interested in 1/4 scale figures.. :huh

Although the HT Keaton is outstanding, the rubber suit will become a problem later on.

A 12" Neca figure would likely outlast it - & look pretty damn good as well (based on this attempt), so it'd be a no brainer for me. I know.. nothing lasts forever - right? That's what y'all are gonna say next? :lol

Look on the bright side, if Neca reveals a 1/4 89 Batmobile you won't have to buy it. :lol

This is gonna be a real nice piece. For the kind of money they're asking and the quality you're getting (as far as I can tell with the limited pics I've seen) you can't go wrong scooping this guy up.

If they make a 1/4 scale 89 batmobile and have it for around 100 to 150 I would be so happy. I dont know where it would go but i definitely would want one maybe two.

You could put a motor in it & take it go-karting. :D :lol

:lol :lol :lol

The behind the scenes shots on figures.com look fantastic! it does look like they have tweaked the headsculpt a little - it looks perfect! can't wait to pick this piece up! now all we need is that neca 1/4 Jack Joker....

Nice find vito. Good work to the prop modelers for making a Batmobile/Batmissile that functions for the illusion on screen, but in terms of accuracy, those proportions are way off.

Never was aware that there is an 89 Batman deleted scene of Batman saving a little girl who asks him if it's Halloween.

If I did know, I forgot about it.

Yeah, weird stuff. Seems like every superhero has got to mingle with kids. :lol

Makes sense why that got cut out when you're establishing a dark, brooding, no nonsense Batman.

Yeah I remember as a kid I had almost if not all of the trading cards for 89 batman and had one of him holding the little girl with the caption "is it halloween?" Always found that confusing as it wasn't in the film. Also made it seem more special. Wasn't until years later that I saw that scene somewhere and realised he significance. Man, I really wish I'd kept all those cards. :(
