I not got the gort 1/4 as I went for classic Alien instead but gort is next on my list!

Theres going to be a major price difference, Im pretty sure Neca will be ok with there 1/4 preds if they decide to do more. If they dont then they have nothing to worry about.

Eh, if HT makes them accurate..then NECA throws out more 1/4 (1/5) scales, I'll be passing on NECA to save for HT...same goes for their smaller figures, I'll be passing on them to save for the 1/4 HT.

I was hoping NECA would do a 1/4 scale City Hunter so that I would not need to buy the new HT City Hunter. I know they are not the same but I already have two Predators in my HT collection and I don’t want too many more. A 1/4 scale NECA would offset the room on the oppisite side of my HT display. And save some $$$$!!!!

Ok so you and some others will save for HT, im pretty sure NECA will be ok without your money... HT's crazy prices wont stop the hundreds and hundreds of others who walk into TRU or order online the NECA 1/4 scale preds and smaller preds. Beleive me if NECA does decide to to do more 1/4 preds they'll be fine. This board isnt even a blip on the radar when it comes to the amount of fans who dont care and will buy both or if your a more casual fan will still keep NECA alive. Like I said they'll be ok. HT is a niche high end market, that doesnt affect all the people who walk in to TRU on a weekly basis waiting for the truck to unload there favorite predator figure or toy in general.

I'm finding that I'm quite content with NECA's 18" Predators. The way HT is going they are making it easier for me to start leaning towards the more inexpensive versions. Although not perfect (which HT isn't either) I'm having fun working on what NECA has put out.
The problem is that NECA doesn't believe in the market HT is creating by over-saturating it with product and their ever increasing prices.

Exactly, Im not doubting that the HT preds will be awesome, but at those prices Im more than happy with NECAs 1/4 preds as well as the smaller preds. In my opinion NECA is more than satisfying the market with there awesome sculpts and great figures. Bring'em on Tankman, cause Im buying sir.

That's the one I want next more than anything else. I'd so love to revisit Aliens and Alien. We'd make a way better figure now with much better articulation. The Queen is a must and it will be fun for me because I missed my chance 10 years ago.
