You are brave to trust Hermes again after the way they've treated you so far. :lol Hope it works out this time.
Brave but with limited choice as Neca don't offer any other shipping methods. I have emailed Neca and asked if I could use DHL to collect future orders but they are not allowed to.

I know but I'm out of options!

I did order Leo, I now have him and Raph coming unless Neca kindly refund me

I'm undecided if I'll continue beyond these 4 Turtles. Technically they're all you need to represent the movie. And it's been kinda stressful getting these, worrying about wonky eyes, weapons and paint apps. Kinda miffed that my Leonardo has a bent sword and paint errors on his head.

That's about the size of it. My Donnie has a slightly goofy eye, but I don't feel like trying to get another. I got a spare Raph I need to unload at a discount. Nothing wrong with it, just the dirty bandana.

I have had zero issues with mine. I have been very lucky. Did Neca fix the issues for you?

Would Neca not offer a head replacement for you or would they want to swap the entire thing?

I tried to get a spare head from NECA but they wanted me to send the whole thing back to them (this was with Raph) so I know they'd tell me the same thing. The rep on Twitter has no idea what they'd send me so it could end up being worse.

I'm just glad to have put the Raph business to bed and got one I'm happy with.

His eyes are good. I went through four Raphs before I got a good one. One Raph had the same eye issue a-dev's has that has the left eye slightly looking to the left and not symmetrical.

This was my first Raph with the unibrow.

Here's my Donnie. His right eye is slightly downward and looks goofy from the side, but in the pic it looks fine. The way his bandana is, it makes him look cross-eyed. He also has shiny dried glue around the seam between his beak and bandana, but I've been meaning to spray some Tamiya flat coat in there to flatten it. I did it on my Raph's nose because he had one sparkly spot, and it remedied it.

I think this will have to do and I gotta try to not be so picky.

I haven't asked. Like Snake I'd just want a replacement sword and head. Sending back the entire figure would suck, especially when there's no guarantee I'd get a better one.

That's reason I opted to try buying one more Raph directly from NECA, especially after their newer batches looked better. I did get one I was happy with in the end. Bit dirty bandana, but probably the least offensive amount I've seen. Raph in particular seemed very luck of the draw. Pristine bandanas some got, while others look like he gave one too many oil changes.

Now I'm sitting on my hands for the time being in regards to Leo. Bent sword, eh... maybe I could mend it with a hairdryer and cold water. But I don't have it in front of me to know if it's possible. The stuff with goofy eyes and ****... it's very hard to ignore.

One thing that bugs me is uneven bandanas where one side hangs lower (insert testicles joke) My current Raph had that issue, but I was able to pull it tighter in that direction and now it's more or less symmetrical.

I'm not gonna go to be able to look at my wonky bandanas in the same light now! So is this the norm for Neca items?? I only have the Turtles so I don't really have much experience with Neca outside of this line. My thing has been Hot Toys.

I couldn't tell you. Dirty Bandanas only became a thing with Raphael as far as I know. My Donnie bandana is flawlessly painted with none of that grime.

The disadvantage of buying online. Being this side of the pond, we will never get the chance to go to a shop and see these before buying.

I'd probably feel more comfortable with it if his eyes were looking straight ahead but I don't think he looks goofy or derpy - I think his attitude is very much there and one eye looks like it's got a Clint Eastwood squint. Each one of the Turtles gives me a slight element of doubt about their eye positioning but I think that probably goes to show that most of them would do this.

Fingers crossed no issues with the tracking this time. Is it just Hermes that you give you these delivery issues or other companies to?
