I’m very surprised there hasn’t been another shot at a preorder for the movie set one last time. I guess Neca sold their fulfillment and the rest needs to go to SDCC

The ebay link was for the diorama set.retail 250.It is not for retail at 125 as you mentioned.That is for the none diorama set

I’d buy them if I could but won’t pay over retail for them. Hoping that after or during SDCC a new batch gets released and I can get them shipped over to UK but at this rate it’s highly unlikely. Oh well I guess the scalpers will have to let them gather dust until they are forced to try and get their money back somehow. They can’t charge you that much if you’re not willing to pay. Patience is the aim of the game. They need money more than you need toys.

I guess that depends on Neca getting the playmates deal or am i missing something? I dont know the entire story but everything i have read indicates this release was possible because of a loop hole in the contract. Even with the scalpers there are only 8000 sets of these turtles and i imagine 2/3 of those are going to collectors. As time goes on these will become more scarce imo.

Two. And don't know how crazy it will be at the Con. I heard that at the con it's not as competitive as online.

If it helps there is no retail price. It's a con exclusive sold for $125 per set or $250 with the diorama. That's before tax/shipping and any time and effort required to obtain a set.
Everyone values their collection differently, it depends on how much you think the set is worth.

Like most of us. I hope I can get one of these at some point -without paying too ridiculous a price. I'm willing to pay a little over the sticker price if I can get one for sure. I'm happy to wait these out. Hope that NECA will realize the demand for these and make a larger allotment available.

There will not be any more made available.
NECA had to stick to the rules that the license holder set in place to
even make these in 7" scale as a SDCC exclusive.
That includes the number of sets made.

I missed out, but hopefully can snag a set down the road.

NECA just tweeted a little while ago that they cancelled all orders in which people were abusing the policy. I just hope the way overpriced set that I bought off eBay actually gets shipped to the seller if not I'm screwed

Yeah Playmates have really put a strangle hold on the 6” license of TMNT..even if NECA wanted too, they can’t release the movie set in mass. Really sucks because I read they want to make more.

There are knockoff options, but I don’t see it
