I have a Billy bookcase with glass doors . I've had for 8 or so years . I put weather striping on the seam between the doors with minimal dust entering at all.Where did everybody go in this thread?
Randy tweeted yesterday that more movie figures in the 1/4 are being made. They will release them after the 1/4 Cartoon Turtles. So probably I'm finally getting my Splinter. I'm waiting more then 1,5 year on this guy... and I only want thise figures in one scale so I pass on the 7" versions.
Something else guys: please see my collection below. These are bookcases and one major disadvantage of these is that they aren't dustfree because stupid Ikea don't have doors for it. You can perfectly hide LED strips in it though.. I also want the 1/4 Turtles inside the cases.
So I want to buy Besta's closet elements and put the glass doors on it with the black border (kind of big border but acceptable) and put LED strips in it. But I would really like to put the turtles on 1 shelf with no divider between it. Is this possible with a half riser shelf in the besta? I know that without the shelf only 3 is the max.
Please let me know. Thanks.
Daaaaamn buddy that looks freaking amazingJust finished my custom TMNT wall display. Still have to find a spot for all my movie turtles.
That cape on Shredder is the show stealer.I took this guy out of storage (closet) I'm debating on taking him out of the box but I don't have anywhere to put him right now. I forgot how impressive the shred head is.View attachment 575875View attachment 575876View attachment 575879
That was pretty much my initial reaction: “well I could look for spare heads or buy a new one”. By the end of the night I was over it and Mikey is fine.My 1/4 Turtles had a variety of different kinds of paint issues but I just got over it in the end. I contemplated buying extras at the time but now I'm glad I didn't bother.
Yeah...I have to learn to part with my boxes...especially the NECA. They are almost always damaged bc the cardboard is cheaper. The one part that is okay is NECA hasn't been doing much 1/4 scales. It's good as it saves space, but I used to love them as they were epic in a display. Neca does seem to be mostly out of the 1/4 scale game.Goodness I threw them Neca boxes out when I opened up them big guys years ago lol. It’s not like a HT box often Neca boxes are pretty damaged upon getting the figure out with those zip tie things lol. It hurt to throw away my 89 Batman box though.
I have the Core 4 and Shred and a Foot...
It's hard to throw packaging away, but it takes up so much space. I end up keeping half my figs in their boxes, not because I am a MIB collector, but because I have throwing packaging that looks good, away.
Also the packaging is the best way to sort accessories. It's always a tough choice, but since neca packaging usually deteriorates really fast imo, it feels okay to throw it away once the box rips.
Yeah...probably best solution to label and have gallon sized bags. I Must have close to 25 or so Quarter scales.Just get some gallon sized zip lock bags to hold them, I bag everything individually and put a label on it if it's not obvious from the accessories.

I love 1/4 scale, I really think NECA isn't doing them outside TMNT. Ili never understood why they never did a Sigourney Weaver or a Commando Arnold or Tech Noir that Scale? I think those are sure fire.
Dang. Didn't know they were rereleasing.I feel like they're going back and re-releasing a bunch. Last year it was the Batman Returns trio, I checked BBTS earlier today and they had the 1/4 '66 Robin, Freddy, and Predator. I think all of them are re-releases.
