Final product will be almost identical to what was seen at SDCC.

Not to sound like a **** because I want this to be good, but that could mean nothing. Show a picture NECA, but I know that would open up a world of hurt.

You too are worried about the ' almost ' part Randy mentions ? Heck I want these to be good too, but given how shoddy their final products can be I think that I should wait till the first batches hit the shelves to see how close to the prototypes they actually are.

They're awesome, just too big for me. I don't have a lot of space as is, so 1/4 scale just wont work, otherwise 100% I'd buy them.

I'm not rigid and perfectionistic about these things. If they are able to look good enough to elicit certain nostalgia, then I'm all for it given price and quality. These just need to be able to evoke nostalgia for me. Being picky about proportions just indicates that one only considered items for perfection and little emotional nostalgia.

For me there is just no space to allocate. These won't fit in a detolf, and I do not have room for 4 figures of this size anywhere else, sadly. And there's no way I could ever just choose one and not all 4. I'm still crossing all fingers and knocking on all of the wood that some one does these in 1/6 scale.

So I ordered from Calendars.com so evidentially they changed their pre-order rules or something. I remember someone said they take the money out right away for pre-orders. Well that's not the case now. I talked with an specialist and they told me that they take money out once it ships even with paypal... Not an huge deal but was hoping i could pay it in full and not have to worry about having $$$ in my account when it ships.

Btw, I got this excellent quality movie poster ( 27x40") for only $14 bucks! Head over to moviepostershop.com to get one while we wait for NECA to spit out Donnie and the rest of the gang! The frame is $19 dollars over at Wal-mart. The poster shop is based out of Las Vegas, NV and was $6 to ship it to me here in Arizona.

7 inches... I just found out that Warner Bros. owns the home video rights to TMNT 1990... Hmmm could be an chance in a later future...

LOL I don't have the comic versions and wont support the bootlegs so thats why I said sadly... But on the plus side non attendees at NYCC can order these sets.

If they can release those figures on their website, I see no reason why they can't do the same with the movie figures in the 7 inch scale. Hopefully one day.
