What's all this about 'Never being happy', most people on here gush over these figures, me included! It's a discussion forum right? Where people talk the pro's and con's, with these latest pictures there is a little concern for the size of Mikey's head in proportion to his body, what's wrong with talking about that?
I've read this thread from the start and whenever anyone dares to criticise these figures they're mocked!

People just get uncomfortable with ciritical discussion. The complaints have not really been that bad here compared to the kids in the movie forums who jerk each other off by being the most negative.

The complaining becomes a problem if a person comes here simply to bash the figure consistently. That's why I don't post in the tmnt Mondo thread anymore as I have nothing positive to say about them. But I'm not going to go crap on others views who enjoy the figures. People should be able to be critical as well (within reason).

I've had my issues with the line, but I'll openly admit I've been very picky with it. That said, it's only coming from being a big fan of the film. NECA's done a great job.

I have all mine in the box still so im not sure but is the chest piece movable at all or what?

The entire shell section does move so your figure is okay.

i intend to disassemble one of the turtles one day to check how it's constructed and how leg movement forward and backward can be improved.
don't know which one to choose for that.

Shawpaw, there are Kaiser stands at Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Jo-Ann's. ~$8.00 apiece. If all else fails, eBAY.
Your avg stand won't fit the Turtles you need the one for chubby waisted dolls.

Thanks for replies. I was just wanting one that I could put around their leg or arm so it's not as noticeable. Mine was cheaply made and is tilted badly. Went to Hobby Lobby and found one but I need to recolor the grip to brown/black instead of white.

Amazon has the best deal. Get a 6-pack for $30. And they're black.

You may want to look through this
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GUeq344Su14 The guy dissections Leo to fix a broken leg peg
oh, thank you! will watch. i believe it will be really important in future, as those pegs just want to be broken.
* * *
after watching that video and seeing the inner construction i think it's best to just disassemble all turtles and make the groin holes for leg joints slightly bigger or, if it's not the hole size problem but the ratcheting problem, to cut off the ridges on pegs.
it's a pity he didn't show how he managed to take the shell part off without cutting it.
