Still wondering if those legs are a bit over-generously long. If they are it's a problem shared with Sarah Connor.

I thought '86 Ripley was a bit "leggy" as well. It was never enough to ruin the figure for me, but it did stand out and I agree, it is especially noticeable in A3 Rip.

I think the problem is that female figures tend to be more longer and thinner anyway, but also that unlike the normal muscle bound male figures they dont normally have a lot of clothing or add on parts to help hide any parts that may seem out of place. I do think though A3 Ripley looks much better than the other Ripley figures we have had so far.

I know Resurrection tends to get a lot more hate than even Alien 3 lately, but since NECA keeps hinting at doing figures from that movie down the line, what would you all like to see if they did a whole wave from the fourth film ? I would like to see personally [

Ripley 8 - with the chest scar visible.
Call - ( though getting Ryer's likeness may be a problem there )
Aqua Alien - from the underwater sequence.
Newborn Alien - He would have to be a bigger scale imo in order to be different enough but also to be on scale with their Queen figure.

And if they ever wanted to do something a little more unique - maybe one or two of the failed clones that came in sealed up status tubes that you could fill up with water and have light up features.

Don't hate Alien 4 but no-one can say that it wasn't a huge letdown, even if Alien 3 lowered everyone's expectations by the time Resurrection came out. I look at 3 & 4 sort of like fan-made movies and in that regard I can get some enjoyment out of them, but I think it's important for us fans to remember that those movies were the downfall of our beloved movie franchise and could have well of ended it.

I wouldn't pass up on the figures (mainly as a completionist) but having Ripley from each movie will be pretty cool. Oh and i'm 99% certain they already have Winona Ryder's likeness, so we gotta get a Call.

...I believe the most likely scenario for an Alien: Resurrection series would be Ripley, the Newborn and a Warrior. I'd love some more characters later on like Call, Johner and Christie but I doubt that would happen. Also a "creature pack" with the failed clones would be great (and they don't require articulation ;) ) and of course the Queen! A guy can dream, right?

I have a similar mentality toward the film as VLAGAS, but would be far less enthusiastic for the figures. Even the completionist in me would easily pass on them. I didn't find many, if any, of the human characters likable enough to want to own, and I despise the newborn with a passion.

I don't really care for AR and in my opinion the newborn is horrible but I know there are a lot out there that like it. My guess is Neca only goes 3 deep in the line and gives us a warrior, Ripley & Newborn like mentioned above. I could be wrong but I don't see them going too deep in this line at all.

I would gladly buy a Ripley 8 (her outfit is actually my favorite of all four movies), alien warrior, and the Newborn. A failed clone creature pack would also be a must buy for me. I probably wouldn't buy figures of the other humans from Alien: Resurrection, but then, I avoid most of the human figures from the other films as well (yup, I'm one of those).

I agree. I do not expect them to expand too much outside the human cast from Resurrection, so the best bet would be Ripley herself and the most notable Aliens from the film. If the line does well enough still, then maybe later one we can get a Call or other members from the Betty crew.

I didnt actually think about it but now that you mention it, their lack of articulation would make it more possible for one or two clones to be made and not cost much when compared to other figures in the line. The joint cost could instead go to more detailed paint apps and sculpting to make them look really well presented. I would not expect Ripley 7 ( the one on the surgery table and still partly alive ) but some of the other smaller ones in the containment cylinders would be a nice striking addition to the line.

I agree. Her leather outfit that made her look like a lithe warrior alien is one of the most unique outfits they created for her.

But only after we finally get more info on that Alien 3 creature pack. Nothing at all yet.

Also still keeping my hopes alive for Clemens, Dillon and maybe a Bishop 2. Of any of the earlier released characters I feel Bishop deserves a second swing.

Thinking about it now, damn I hope NECA at least does a Clone Creature pack now lol

I could just about stomach having a Newborn in my collection nevermind having a bunch of Mutilated Ripley Clones, is this something you guys really want to have on display?

Not sure that Randy and the crew would really think that one is necessary

For me I do not need all the failed clones no, maybe just one or two and not even articulated, just in stasis tubes would suffice.

Yep we will probably get Ripley 8. And I get that people like that. But man I can't for the life of me. I really wish in time we will get the Dillon and morse in the future...as the line begins to finish we will probably get random thrown in there.

I hate to say it, but I have a hard time believing that Neca will make figures of what basically amount to a bunch of bald guys in drab prison outfits from one of the less popular Alien movies (you know that's how retailers are going to see it). I hope I'm wrong, but given that it's taken this long to get even Vasquez, I doubt it. From Neca's point of view, a glow in the dark xeno from a bad movie is probably safer business than more humans from Alien 3.
