Here is my Alien Warrior, but it is from AVPR.

It seemed quite large, compared to the other Alien figures NECA had bought out.

Some of its features seem exaggerated, like the top 2 horns on its back and the tail is excessively long.

I like this figure. The articulation is great.

True!

But its right leg pops off if your not careful, well for this figure...

Probably didn't do too well on the ball joint.

But it still holds it in place, just need to make sure its secured in.

Overall a good figure.

Are these new or do they have the same quality problems I've been reading in this post?

I have this figure and its really great.My has some paint fails but its over all great Alien figure .

I have the Aliens Warrior and I really like this Fig a lot, the only problem is that the paintjob "glued" the leg joints damn tight on mine.
I had to try like 3 days to brak the "seal" and not the leg, but all went good.
Very good on standig on their own also.

I just bought a Warrior from Aliens on Ebay for £15!
Bit much I know but meh I cant afford a SS warrior at the moment have to wait until April for that.

I been told its the blue version.

The sculpt on this figure is amazing.
Unfortunately they did have a lot of QC problems as well. Still, one fo my favorite NECA figures.

Should have gone for the AvP: R version as its meant to be less fragile.

AvP: R version is very nice and sturdy, but it suffers from crappy strausetard design, so...

It's still a sturdy, we'll articulated Alien figure. I know you love him deep down.

For my NECA Alien collection, I got:

2X A L I E N figures (Original dome & clouded dome) - I kept the original dome in package. Cuz when i got it i LOVED the way giger's design looked in the box.

3X Aliens Alien Warriors (Will have more)

and the Predalien AVPR (open mandibles).
