Nobody wants that to happen more than me. Pred 2 would be the one that would be left out and I'm hoping will do the other two one day. I've learned with NECA never believe nothing can't happen. If it were up to me you would get all the Aliens and preds except AVP Preds. I hate those but would still have fun sculpting them anyway. I love Predator 2 but it would cost so much now days and when I look at the McFarlane piece all I can do is shake my head and think what could have been. I would just love do make new ones and I bet they will still sell very well. Fingers crossed you'll see more from us one day.

Not sure when the company will let the cat out of the bag but I'm so looking forward to seeing this piece get made. I love Terminator 1 and 2 and heck 3 isn't bad either. That really did suck for me and I was so looking forward to that figure like everybody else. Funny how time goes by and things seem to work themselves out. I want a T1 and T2 terminator myself. I love those movies and am very into this figure I'm still working on.

Yes I work for NECA and we do not sell the prototype's. As the artist I have one for myself but no way can I sell it. It is the best part of the job when you get the castings of your work. When I started at McFarlane back in 98 they let us get our figures cast up. Other got jealous and in time we couldn't get our stuff anymore and we were told if you want it go buy the toy like everybody else. It was a big low blow for me and was one of many things to make me say time to move on. Looking back on it and seeing that McFarlane just got rid of 22 people it was the best move I ever made. Working at NECA is a dream job and the people I work with are most of my friends that left McFarlane too. The first two years at MCtoys was great and I'm greatful I got a job there and it ended up leading me to the dream job MCFarlane could have been. I look at what they are doing now days and most of thier best stuff is sports. I like sports myself but it gets old sculpting your 15th football player. I much rather do Aliens, predators and terminators any day. Heck all the things of gotten to do at NECA makes me think to myself man are you a spoiled SOB. Good luck to Mctoys because if you are a sports fan you are getting some very nice figures. Would be nice to see them do some of the things they did around 2000 though.

Couldn't agree more with this. I used to mostly collect Mcfarlane stuff, but nowadays nothing they make interests me anymore. You are also the sculptor of the Movie Maniacs 18 inch Leatherface, right? Still one of my favorite items. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great stuff you sculpted over the years.

Hey Tankie, I wonder if you could start you're own little figure business here. Make custom figures like some of the sculpters here. Like if I asked for...I dont know, say a Equlibrium Preston or something, and you get enough people, would that be a possiblity? That would be damn cool actually.

Tankman, 2 QUESTIONS for you........

1) Would you at least be able to post some prototype photos of your Aliens Warrior prototype? I think I can speak for everyone on this thread that we would love to see such a great piece of art that you have done. Great job!!!!!! Please let is know. I have already purchased four of these figures online so it would be great if you can really post your prototype photos. Please let us know if you can post some photos!!!!

2) Secondly, are you guys going to sell an 18" verions as the Aliens Warrior in the near future?

is NECA concerned at all with anything you'd post on here?
i don't mean just pics of your work there, but also voicing opinions, etc.
not trying to be a killjoy, but more and more companies these days get their litigious panties in a wad when their worker bees go off-script in cyberspace.

Pred 2 has more pieces than Pred 1 and would cost a lot more to paint it right. I love Pred 2 and hope we do make it one day. I'm a huge fan of Alien and Predator and these are the guys that made me want to get into sculpting toys in the first place.

I would LOVE that. Especially if it has actual netting and looks as close to the movie as possible, it might even replace my Hot Toys Pred 2!

And thanks for answering everyone's questions, man. Personally I love Neca's stuff, even though I unfortunately don't have a lot.
