Looks like NECA is releasing a pretty cool looking Batman 89 utility belt. I wonder if other retailers will be carrying it.

They released a similar commercial to the Kenner utility belt from back in the day which is awesome:

Saw this. It’s kind of cool but I’m not really one for props. Especially at the price point.

The paint job is way too yellow and the gold accents are missing, the closing mechanism is not accurate neither the capsules that are a little too bulky BUT if you can’t / don’t want to spend 300$ for an accurate prop belt (actually 1K for an entire accurate set), it’s a fantastic set IMO.

It’s seems that Neca took its inspiration in the book "Batman The Ultimate Guide To The Dark Knight"
It's mostly based on the comics rather than the actual movie. But it’s cool.
Nice collectible rather than an accurate prop.

That’s pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the specs of what’s supposedly in his belt. Would be more cool if we had seen him use more of those gadgets.

I feel torn on this one, looks nice but I have never gone down the props route. Do we think Neca may tackle the cowl to accompany eventually?

I doubt. I mean a cowl is a much bigger and expensive item.
Not sure it’s the Neca’s target.
