NECA Pirates of the Caribbean

Resurrecting a dead thread here, but recently I managed to get one of the classic 1/4 Jack's for cheap. Definitely lacking in articulation, but I'd say the sculpt and paint is up to par with what NECA is putting out today in the 1/4 line! I love the look of the figure, especially after I just finished rewatching Black Pearl.

I picked up NECA's 7" scale Davy Jones from their DMC series 1 around this time last year. It's actually the only PotC figure I currently own.

I apologise if this has been asked or is in the wrong thread but does anyone know why NECA hasn't decided to make figures based off of the new Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides movie?

I want a Blackbeard to go with my Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Davy Jones and Captain Teague.

Have NECA said anything about the series?

I'm with you- I want NECA to pick up the line. I love the figures; they are so much better than what Jakks is putting out
