Great pics! I didn't know the bullets from the FB Rambo were removable? Cool. They go well with the part 2 M60. I wish NECA had included the bullets with the figure.

Well, the 2 over his chest can be swapped around just popping his head off, the waist, I had to break the glue around it, which is silly, they have a peg you insert to connect both ends, but they glue it permanent. He doesn't have the waist bullets long in FB so I removed them and trimmed the glue away so I can use it if I want.

As for the NECA Rambo 2 M60, not sure why it came out like it did, but no bullets and strap when there was none makes no sense. I'm not aware of any other figure of theirs the gun might be reused form nor one they'd recycle it for, but stinks that it's inaccurate. I have him using the N2 M60 right now on display though.

Yeah, we got an empty M60e3 and with a strap I guess you could just take or cut off the strap, but I don't mind it too much. Interestingly, the Commando figure also comes with an M60E3, but I don't see a strap on that one. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of black paint on the Knife's blade.

I'm thinking the knife may have been a choice since you can take it in and out of the sheeth, maybe the black would wear off.

I'm kind of wishing they'd given him green trousers and an RPG with a bright red warhead...

...and maybe released a repaint of the First Blood version with a big "Force of Freedom" decal on his shirt under the title of "Firepower Rambo".

That's a great idea. The new force of freedom figure comes with the wrong accessories. The original figure came with the M60 and the RPG, not the AK47 and the bow.

Yeah, they don't look so hot these days.

But I grew up watching the Force of Freedom cartoon and playing with those Rambo action figures, so they still hold a special place in my heart.
