That is so freaky! I was google-image searching the mask-less variant and your photos popped up, otherwise I'd have never resurrected this old thread.

The only thing that disappointed me about the Lone Ranger figure was the cartoony eyes, and it appears from photos that the quarter-scale version is much better in that department. GameStop has him for just over $50, so I bit the bullet. Here's the link:

All this time later we of course know there won't be, and the 3.75-inch series was sadly canceled, too, but the old ToyBiz Lord of the Rings horses work great!
