Need advice on a Luke Skywalker 1/6 fig

I am searching for the perfect luke to go with the upcoming sideshow darth vader and was wondering what everyones views were on these figs? Any luke out there or should I wait for one at a later date?

I hate being that guy but are there better head sculpts out there because I am just not that into the sideshow sculpt.

i think the SDCC exclusive Luke sculpt has a lot of potential... definitely destined for the "farm boy" attire.

I'd recomend the ESB Luke to be honest. no monkey arms, nice sculpt. overall it has the least amount of work needed to look perfect. at most he only needs a repaint.

Jedi Luke or ANH Luke with body swap and SDCC 09 Head
ESB flat head looks pretty bad...
Yavin... not even worth considering...
ANH original sculpt looks pretty good...

i'm fine with the Jedi Luke, ANH Luke and sorta fine with the Bespin Luke. ANH Obi-Wan would look great with the Vader.

I think we should not consider ANH Luke..He never really interacted with Vader in ANH...(besides watching Obi Wan die.)

He wants a Luke to compliment Vader...Jedi Luke is the way to go in my opinion.

thanks for all of the input guys. I am torn between ESB Luke and Jedi Luke because ESB was my favorite film and the duel at the end to me is unforgettable but the Jedi Luke is just so Iconic so it comes down to quality of figure. Ive heard that the Jedi Lukes arms are long and also mixed feelings on the ESB headsculpt. I also am not a fan of the over sized hands and no matter what the head will be repainted by Josh from Small_studios. It is just a tough choice and I love the ANH Obi but I was just hoping for a Vader and Luke.

Get a Jedi Luke. If you want accurate height stick him on a pro body with a little bit of padding around the shoulders. Looks great imo.

will the light saber hands work on a pro? the only body im familiar with are the truetypes. This would be my first sideshow besides Vader

Yeah I have my buck hands that came with Luke on the pro body. I dont remember having to do any mods.

I am usually not a stickler for the difference in Vader's costume between movies, but the ANH outfit is the most different of the 4 Vaders...

Have yet to pick up any of the Luke's, but I think most of this board can agree that Old Ben is by far the best SS figure out of the box.
