It's very hot here in Florida too, but we have plenty of rain.
I don't have to worry too much about the climate damaging my figures though because I always leave the a/c on.

However, I too use Armor-All on my ALIENS.

Nah, I don't envy them. I prefer to be cold than too hot because I really hate when I sweat. Even in our crappy summers by the time you dry off after a shower you feel like you need another one. I could do without that.
