Hi all,

I'm building a custom figure and trying to get hands that are the correct size is driving me nuts!

I'm using a Dragon German WW2 head (because its 100% spot on to the character I've created for a novel). The head fits great on a TTL body and I've got all the clothes.

But hands....going nuts here :D .....TTL's only seem to have available a right 'trigger' hand designed to hold a rifle.

The character holds a sword and I'm struggling to find something.
Didn't realize how small Hot Toys were compared to other companies. Bought HT Ezio's hands (would have been perfect since he also wears a nice leather glove which I want...) but they are too small.....as are another [unknown] companies hands.

Any recommendations on good gripping/spear/sword/dagger hands (preferably with gloves but I'll deal without) that can be used with a TTL ?

Would much appreciate any advice!

thanks

I'm surprised the HT hands are too small as TTL hands are direct copies of HT hands.

Really?
Can anyone clarify whether I'm going insane or not? :rotfl

i've always felt that most of the hands from companies are always too big.

Maybe the HT hands I have are the correct size and the TTL ones are actually too big....
Now you're all just messing with me :rotfl

how big exactly do you need them?

ha ha ha
What does everyone else use when they need sword holding hands for their customs?

Any advice on what other brands fit TTL bodies?
(It seems to be a popular brand for people to use, right?)

anyone else with advice?

...I can't be the only one wanting to create custom figures holding swords? :D

I too think a lot of HT hands are too big. HT's Aldo has hands that hold handles. Both right and left if you can find them.

hands are big in real life usually over your face "bet you just tried that".
So i agree think they should be big, men have big hands

for sword holding hands, you can go with the Sideshow Red Ninja, but the grip is not very tight. The bigger the hands you find the less likely they will grip a sword securely.
