Need some electronic advice!

So I'm finally moving out of my parent's house in July into an apartment with my fiancee a few months before we're married.

Moving out I want to grab some advice on new electronics which my knowledge is very limited. I currently have a samsung blu-ray player and want to buy a sound system. I would like to get everything in one box and was wondering what product delivers the best quality for surround sound for the best value?

I recently just picked up a Sony surround sound system for a little over $200 on sale and it sounds AMAZING. It just comes with the receiver, subwoofer and 5 speakers for their respective positions (3 front, two back). It's a really simple installation for any room and you can fool around with the settings to find your ideal sound.
