So 25% deposit on a ballpark $600 full figure is going to be non refundable - and will be required before we see a single completed figure...did I read that right? Or did I misunderstand?

I believe he's asking for the deposit once the painted head and glasses are shown, as you have already seen most of the rest of the figure - coat/pants (accessories/custom hands etc. are still in the works).

I know it is kind of weird to even ask for a deposit without have a full prototype assembled and pictures,
but this project is a custom collaboration of artists in different parts of the world (US and Hong Kong) and as a student-artist, I don't have enough funds to buy supplies first and then wait for money to come in lol.
We've seen pictures of the outfit prototype by Kato,
the modified head sculpt by Sean Ho,
and the sunglasses by Sean Ho.
I will make sure that a painted version of the head sculpt is available before any deposits are made.
The things missing are the Sai Swords, and the HT TT body (which there will be an option of choose African American body for $15 cheaper)

I understand this Neo is an enormous effort by various artists, all who are highly skilled and have fantastic reputations. I have no doubt that the finished product will be stellar and to the best of their abilities, and the best Neo 1/6 currently on planet Earth. I have seen other works that you mentioned Daniel and I agree they are phenomenal.

very nice paintjob by sean and as for katos work, there are no more words left to describe his phenomenal work.
just looked at the shop as i'm interested in the sunglasses, but when i looked at the pics, i've only seen the glasses alone, without the temples. will they be included, or will we just get the glasses alone?

we are still working on the frames (that hook around the ears) for the sunglasses. It is very difficult at the moment because it is so thin and small but Sean Ho is working on them right now
