my GF had some friends over today and they decided to gang up on me by calling the living room my "nerdcave." they laughed at my ability to multi-task.
btw... this is my living room.

i'm slowly working them into the room. right now i just have my Punisher PF on a shelf adjacent to the tv. once i get the room cleaned up and hide all the wires and stuff i can start migrating the toys into the room. you'll laugh when i post pics of the rest of the house....i have my collection scattered throughout every room.

i too have the computer, the lcd monitor(for the 360) and t.v. all in the same line of site. i call mine the hole. my collectibles are in the same room though. if i could spend all my time in here i could probably do it but life won't let me. i get the room in the back of the house though so i don't get to use my large television and I can't display every collectible but it was a sacrifice I was willing to accept to stop the nagging.

alright i took your advice and moved some of the collection into the room. i also finally bought a decent A/V rack to better accommodate everything. i still have a problem with the cables, but its ok for now because i plan on re-running the speaker wires so i'll fix the problem when i do that. i will probably hide the cables behind/ under the tv stand to keep them completely out of sight. how does it look now??

Belkin 7 Port USB Hub
Belkin 5 Port Ethernet Hub
Cheap Computer Speakers for the Macbook so i don't have to run it through the surround sound

I don't get it. If someone called any of my rooms (my office, my ht, the family room, take your pick) my "nerdcave", I'd just say "Thank you!" Because, after all, that's exactly what I'm striving for!
