Found Deadpool/Taskmaster and Wolverine/Silver Samurai today at Wal-Mart! A lot of fun. I love all of them except Wolverine (who I think is just too plain.)

Silver Samurai is an example of a character that I have no particular affinity or connection to but that makes me NED to buy it because it just looks so darn cool. It's such a well executed figure.

Deadpool and Taskmaster are amazing. I am a little annoyed at how tall Taskmaster's neck is but I understand why they did it and overall it looks okay. Everything else is top notch. I love how many accessories they both come with and the fact that you can pretty much store every weapon not in use on them!

Big haul, but did you get the comic or movie versions. Most stores I've been to only have the comic version.

As for a movie representation of Thor, I got the Sword Spike one.

It's weird, figures 1 - 11 all under the movie banner and only 2 movie figures - Cap and Red Skull. The rest are all Comic, and one Concept.

This is the first Marvel line I'm going semi-completist on but I always thought there was more of a mixture. This is mainly comic. I'm not complaining, I love Cap so I'll get Deep Dive Cap or whatever they throw at me.

I may end up getting the non-variant Thor figures. I'm a sucker for 4" movie figures. I even bought the Origins figures (well, not Deadpool).

I know the movie is fantastic...just haven't gotten to it. Sort of annoyed I wasted this weekend on Pirates.

All in all, with the addition of these characters, I have to say I'm really liking this line. Destroyer is a bit disappointing, though. It's not bad, but the transparent head is a very odd choice. I may pick up the rotocast version if I can to use with these figures.

I was happy to be rid of the gimmick weapons, though I actually liked Hogun's enough I thought I'd give it to Odin since he is without a normalish looking weapon. I really like the Frost Giants though! I hope the Ice Claw and Laufey come out.

Went to a toy show this weekend and waited to late to buy a variant Cable for $20, by the time I decided to buy it, it had sold.


Still trying to find a Thanos,Cyclops, and Cable, what a pain it is to try to collect these things.

I think we'll being seeing lots of "flame on" variant for Johnny Storm this coming month, value for this guy is going to take a huge hit soon.

Aren't there four Johnny Storms (Human Torch) figures? There's the human with black and blue outfit, Human with white and blue outfit, Clear red plastic Torch, and the solid red plastic torch that comes in the Secret Wars two pack. Are there anymore?

He'll be back some time anyway, I heard a rumor at a comic shop that there is suppose to be a book out this summer called "Escape from the Negative Zone". Who else is in the negative zone that would have the need to escape from there beside the torch? I think he was only captured, his skrull ex-wife will break him out, and together they'll eventually get out and "Boom", Fantastic Fout will be back to normal. Just like they did back when Jim Lee did them, probably when there next anniversary issue comes up.

That used to be one of the hardest to find variants in MU, but coming this month it will be guaranteed one per case of 12 in the Series 02 Revision 04 set. So expect to see lots of clear red Torch variant soon, similar to the "phasing" Vision and dark red daredevil.

The story you're talking about already started a few weeks back. It's just a small crossover with Steve Rogers and the X-Men fighting Blastaar. Human Torch doesn't factor into it. I agree Torch will probably be back in time for Fantastic Four #600, but that will happen in Hickman's series, not elsewhere.

Finally completed a team in MU! And it's... the Dark Avengers! I didn't think that'd be the first team I'd complete, to be honest... and really, it's not totally complete if you count Noh-Varr and Ares, but they joined later in the series.

I managed to complete them by finally getting the Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel (Karla Sofen aka Moonstone.) I wish I could say I found her at retail but there have been no new MU figures in my area since before Christmas still. So I got her on Ebay. I have to say she's a very cool figure. I like the metallic paint job
