I think in some cases the price can be justified if its a very small run. Less figures made means more expense passed onto the consumer.

But this is the 2nd release of the same crap figure... I think the first time around you could get it for $200, but even then I didn't want one.

Figures like these pop up all the time and DAMN limited too. For example a company made 2 "Departed" figures, one of Leo and the other Jack, both had a print run of 100 pieces. It retailed for $99, and rightfully so because the figures are not all that great.

So this item again is something I find laughable, especially with the amature sculpt and crazy price.

I'll agree with that... on some the price can be justified, but clearly not here.

The prototype head for this version looked far better. I wonder what happened.

Looks like they tried to refine the sculpt and lost all of the character... too bad. Could also just be really bad paintwork.

Is this not the same company that stole Arnie Kim's original Bruce Lee prototypes before he decided to work with Enterbay to reproduce his Lees?

I say dont buy from that rip-off company...

Hadn't heard it was them, I've heard that story... but never a company name attached to it.

The outfit and accessories are great but that head sculpt... :monkey4

Yea he definately could use a repaint, the sculpts not all bad, up close it looks alot better. But he looks killer next to my Subway Jack, I have a Sideshow Hartman from Full Metal Jacket on the way, and now I'm just hoping we see that Dave Bowman from ER, 2009 could be a great year for Kubrick fans.

All in all, I'm happy with this figure, I had to wait for a replacement to arrive, the first had a busted arm, but everything is good in this one. I'm a huge Kubrick fan so this was a must, but I can also understand why people are saying they dont like it, the price is very steep. I also found out it is limited to 30 pcs.
