As would a 40's Batman. I think part of the reason B:TAS was so great was that it had that 40's vibe to it. The huge cars, black and white TV, etc. Its truely a great era to set a Super Hero film/tv/comic.

While I enjoyed the Tim Daly animated Supes, I really wished it had taken place in the same universe as B:TAS. This new short captures the spirit of the Fleischers much better.

They did co exist in the same universe.
They had crossover episodes.
Gotham was in a bit of a time warp "style" wise.
Metropolis on the other hand was the city of the "Man of tomorrow"
