Figure I should quote a bit for those who are too lazy to click on the link (as I usually am). :lol

Now And Then’ – which was composed by John Lennon in 1978 and later worked on by Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr when they reunited to work on the Beatles Anthology project in 1995 – never got released, but McCartney has been adding to it and is now keen for fans to hear the track.

A source said: “The Beatles song ‘Now And Then’ is finished. All four Beatles are on the track. The original Beatles reunion version from 1995 was embellished with numerous sessions over the last two years by Paul McCartney.

“He wants the song to come out very badly.”

I can't wait to hear it. Here's the original unfinished version. Even with just John on the piano it's a beautiful song.

And here's the 1995 version that was never officially released.

I like the second one too, but sadly, its fan made. Not the actual Beatles one. (Did a really good job making it sound legit though. :(

Well Paul's last two albums have convinced me of nothing more than the idea that he is indeed knee deep in a creative renaissance. So whatever he comes up with I am sure will be artful and interesting.

well it's one thing releasing stuff as Paul McCartney - we don't expact much from him but silly little love songs (hehe) but releasing something as the Beatles is a big deal, and i wasn't a fan of real love but again i'm keen to hear this song.

was "free as a bird" one of those studio put together things. I think thats a nice song.

LOVE is a good album. It has made me really anticipate the rereleases coming out this fall.

I dunno. Love came with a 5.1 DVD. I don't remember exactly what the press release said.

Love was great because they weren't re-recordings but the original masters. It's when old men record new parts to existing trascks that may not have ever been completed for a reason where i get worried.

But seriously though i'm not trying to be a negative person here i just really love the Beatles and don't want to see any tarnish on that perfect catalog.

I agree. The melody just floats doesn't it? Cool chord changes too. (esp on the "What ever happend to" bits).
