Here was a segment from the 'Ask Sideshow' on 7/9:

Question: The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Premium Format Figures are incredible, but everyone wants to know if there are going to be any more major characters like Willow, Faith, Zander, Giles, etc. made for this line?

Answer: We do not plan to continue the Premium Format Buffy line, but we are currently in development on new Buffy products in another format. We hope to share more news with you soon!

Now, they might be eluding to the Electric Tiki line, but I'm hoping it's a new line altogether!

Maybe I'm reading into it too much, but I find their reply very misleading. To me that reads SS is developing a new line. Not that SS is distributing products from another company, that not is even a new line.

That being said I like this line and will have to pick up Faith. Variant is a bit boring though.

So the big news turned out to be a faith statue that we've known about for over a year?

WOW this blows!!!! I love Buffy to no end but this is what we were waiting for, like Browncoat said.....we've known about this for a year now.....LAME!!!

If and when an ET Angel is released, I think this will be the "make-or-break" deal for me as to whether or not I should start collecting this line. Faith looks really good IMO though. I'd probably go with Red Shirt variant. I prefer the white version a little more, but the I'm a sucker for variants.

But remember Angel started in Buffy, so his early days I imagine would be in that line.

I really hope they do an Angel, him and a spike would be great additions to the line, really love the Tiki line hope it continues for a good length of time although a different line from sideshow would be greatly welcomed along side this at some point.

Yep. And you have to figure too: A while back, Electric Tiki posted design ideas for a Spike piece (who was consequently on both series), so there should be no reason why an Angel piece can't be made. So let's keep our figures crossed!

Exactly. We won't see a Lorne, Fred or Illyria. Man I would love an Illyria in this format. Now I've gotten myself all excited over something that isn't happening.

God I wasn't keen on their Spike design. It look absolutly nothing like the character at all imo.

God only knows what their Angel would look like then.

Well at least they re-made the Spike design. It's been approved now(I emailed them).

Hopefully it'll look nothing like the original sketches we were shown.
