Guys

Thought you might like to know that my brother has been in contact Deniz at d-artstudios.com, who make and sell the Map Room Indy robe set. He asked if he could make a Sallah set and look what they came up with...

Some weathering and a bit of fraying and hey presto - Sallah!

The set costs a mere $30 plus shipping and Deniz is a real gent to deal with.

My brother, Indiana Andrews, has also asked Deniz to work up a Mola Ram robe set too. So all we need now is a head, headdress and necklaces.

Head on over to the site to order.

Looks good I may have to order a set. As for Mola Ram I'd be inclined to wait, he's all but been confirmed as coming from
sideshow in the future.

Hi All

Wor-Gar - The daylight pics are great and I honestly wouldn't worry about the clothing looking different colours as it will do that even on 1:1 clothing.

Greggo - Thanks for the link, the outfit looks great I'll be picking up one next week.

Now someone makes a Sallah outfit :slap

:lol

Looks great! For anyone not wanting or not able to get all the bits for a good price, that outfit set will work perfectly and save you some money. I wish that tunic was around before I built my own.

Haha yea seriously. The only thing I don't like about theirs though is the color of the sash.

Reposting the below for anyone still thinking about getting a Sallah...

Yeah, NOW they make a clothing run! lol! Nice set. Would have gotten one if not for all the work I put in already. Oh well, takes some of the fun out of all I did for mine. I think I'll keep it.
But grab that deal. Nice set. Can't wait to see the figures come from this soon.

Guys
I know that this is off topic, but my brother has spoken with Deniz at d-artstudios.com about the possibility of developing a white dress for the Marion Well of the Souls figure. They can do it no problem.
Obviously no one wants to steal anyone's thunder, or step on any toes if they are working on a dress, but would you guys be interested?
Cheers
Greggo

If anyone here wants to put a flame on their Sallah torch, I think I have a good way to do it!

I was trying to put a flame on a 1/6th candle I made for an Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein Dio I am working on and experimented with Fimo Effect clay Yellow. You bake it and it becomes translucent. Well I baked it a little too long and instead of a yellow color it came out the perfect flame color.
It really picks up the light when lit from behind or from the side. Check out the pics below!

Cool flame! What's a torch without one?

FINAL Sallah rebuilt today. I sanded down the sculpt's neck a bit at an angle so I could pose the head forward (helps hide the long neck and gives him a very slight hunched look).

Here's what I got...

Hard to tell but the head if fully forward on the neck adaptor -- if the adaptor was flush flat he'd be looking upward.

And here's the difference in the head for those curious... BEFORE - AFTER:

Yeah, my favorite so far also. I envy you your attire and body. The neck changes really makes him work. Good chest work matchup too. Bravo! :rock
