I would love to display things out in the open...but no way with 4-year old twins. the temptation would be too great...and I couldn't blame them.

I have a two year old son and he knows not to touch them. He loves them but he knows it's a No No when it come to this area.

Same with my kids. They respect them enough not to touch. They always escort new guests into the room and disclaim "Don't Touch." :lol

Knowing not to touch them and avoiding accidents is something else altogether.

huh......Whaaaaaat

If i taught my kids not to touch them im quite sure i explained to them that certain things are not allowed in the room. you can have a accident and knock a flat screen tv over if you put it like that.

Sure, though knocking a TV over is more difficult than bumping into a statue or touching something the wrong way and damaging it. But people being people, we're fallible. Just saying that people break rules or make mistakes, even when they know better. I just saw a thread a few days ago in which the OP talked about her husband accidentally breaking her favorite statue while she had it out for cleaning. Anyway, to each their own. Not a big deal.

Death Dealer has lots of small pointy bits from the spike/horns on the helmet to the tuft of hair on the front of the horse's mane. But if I thought that was bad then it's nothing compared to the new Sideshow Wolverine with those arrows sticking out of the base :lol

SS did a great job packing the Wolverine. Very well thought out packaging. Mine came flawless.

The arrows on Wolverine are actually detachable.

Mine was good too, but a lot of people have had issues. Sword breakage in particular.

Lucky the shipper box had the spacers inside because by the time mine got to Australia the box was completely beaten to sh....err......badly.

Yeah, but who wants to display him without them? Mine was on the coffee table (interim spot while I sort out a permanent one) and my kids oohed and ahhed and went to touch the arrows.

Right, I get you. I thought the original comment was about the arrows being susceptible to breakage during shipping.

Geez......am I ever going to get this statue delivered.....wow.....talk about a long wait
