Why after they just came out with the NGL body?

Well the NGL's are nice, but the caucasion was way to pale. These give a better body color [IMO] and a Beckham sculpt for those that have been wanting one. PLUS!!! The AA is long overdue from any company making well articulated bodies.

David Beckham?

The black fig would be GREAT to give more 'hand' options to HT Sgt. Apone!

Why the hell would I want a David Beckham HS?

Not a soccer fan, so I haven't followed his career, but I do admire Beckham's choice in "Spice Girls". He ended up with the one that was actually hot.
And on the non-headsculpt portion of this thread, I think it's great HT is offering this figure body in an African American version and another caucasian shade. I'm happy to see both the new releases. They look great. This is my favorite figure type currently available so the more the merrier.

Awesome, I'm glad Hot Toys is making these variations available. I wish Sideshow would start carrying these at hopefully a more reasonable price.

Are the Sideshow hand compatible with this body?
I've never tried it but it doesn't seem possible, Hot Toys uses a ball joint with a rotation joint at either end of the wrist. At the hand, there's a recessed cup that the wrist ball joint sits in, Sideshow's wrists have no cup.

hey Ironman, do you know if these (or any other) figures have shoulders than can shrug?

I'll be thinking of changing out my Legolas SS body eventually for one where I can raise his arrow pulling back arm at the shoulder. When someone pulls an arrow back that arm raises up at the shoulder, and it doesn't look natural having him with both shoulders down and relaxed.

I had a few older male bodies (not sure what make) but they jjust had standard immoveable shoulders

These shoulders do "shrug" a bit. I think the new Barracks Sergeant figures have even better shoulder articulation.

Not really, but with the extra neck adapter, I just switch heads from $ide$how onto the better Hot Toys body.

Then the hot toys body has an oversized head :google

I actually think that SS hands are compatiable with the HT bodies, with a little work mind you.
