Agreed. Loved that show back in the day. Don't think I could resist a 1:6 scale figure of good old 70's tv Monkey. And then I'd have to have Sandy and Pigsy as well. It'd have to be the superior first season Pigsy though. Possibly then I'd need Horse as well. He/She Tripitaka, not quite so much. Well, okay, maybe...

This is the only Monkey King I can recognize.

And the sole reason mum could never find her broom sticks in the 80's

Pmsl, yeah I was exactly the same. Have a wishing staff still that I give a twirl now and again.
Later on came the nunchucks and more brooms were destroyed hahahaha.

Did'nt know there was another version of the tv show or much of the history of this character untill recently.
Just loved monkey especially as a kid sandy and pigsy also very funny Trippytaka was a very pretty boy/girl, pretty sure it was girl but then you never can tell.

That is awesome. I already have the Medicom Monkey figure that came out a few years ago, but I must have this one too.

Having said this, I'd pretty much pass out if they did the 70's Monkey though, one of my favourite TV shows as a kid.
