New IM maquette Photos

HI!

There are new photos of Iron Man maquette on the site and I really hope that I can turn his head because it is a lot more to the right then the older photos. Here's the link:

is it just me or are his arms seem closer to his body, or just the different angle of the pics???

that was one of my main complaint about the first released pics, his arms didn't look quite right to me, plus his armour plates seems to leave to many open areas. imo

I don't like the headsculpt, but the rest of it is spot on. I really hope Hot Toy's gets the armor of their Mark I to shine like that.

I just talked to Sideshow and they confirmed that the head is not movable. It is what it is. I still like it and I'm not letting this one go. The amount of detail is amazing and considering that usually items look better in person, i will keep it. It is an awesome piece. I'm also getting the Hot toys one....

Don't like the position of the head. It looks really awkward, especially with the way he's looking in the opposite direction. The sculpt still isn't great either. If Sideshow continues on with Mark II and III, I hope those come out better.

Good to see the "Crazy Eyes" syndrome is back in full swing.
If you have the exclusive when you pull the visor down you'll see Stark's face and eyes. If you have a standard it'll be blacked out completely you won't see anything underneath

I never realized there was an official name for that! So I guess there will be 4 versions:

Crazy Eyes exclusive & regular.
Non-Crazy Eyes exclusive and regular.

If when I get it I think the head is too much to the right, I will cut the bottom of the head where it attaches to the body and move its head to where I want. I bit of sanding and glue and it will be okay. I might even repaint his eyes to look in a different direction.
